Integrative Wellness Upstate NY is a growing private practice located in Ithaca, NY. We are looking for NY State Limited License (associate level) and Fully Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to join our team to treat a variety of mental health issues. We would like to welcome our new team members to an excellent opportunity to enhance their ability to treat families, couples and individuals with a systems oriented and trauma-informed lens.

• are comfortable with both individual and relational cases.

Clinical Duties:

• Provides systems oriented, trauma-informed care in a culturally competent manner.
• Keeps a caseload of individual, family and couples clients.
• Receives regular supervision from the Clinical Director.
• Collaborates as appropriate with other providers within and external to the group in order to provide a high quality of care.

Administrative Duties:

• Formulates treatment plans.
• Keeps thorough and timely clinical and progress notes.
• Timely completion of administrative paperwork.
• Complies with HIPAA requirements for handling protected health information.
• Complies with the ethical and legal requirements associated with license and applicable professional organizations.

Other Duties:

Duties that are reasonably related to the role, and are assigned by Clinical Director or other individual in a managing role.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice in New York State,
• EMDR basic training, or openness to complete EMDR basic training.
• Strong knowledge and/or strong interest in gaining knowledge of attachment theory and ability to apply this to case conceptualization and treatment.
• Strong knowledge and/or strong interest in gaining knowledge of adaptive information processing model, and ability to apply this to case conceptualization and treatment, strongly preferred.
• Experience providing trauma informed care strongly preferred.

Hours:

Flexible, approximately 10-15 clinical hours per week.

Salary:

On a per-clinical hour basis.
